Lieutenant Down… HM!

Finally.

Finally. Finally. Finally.

After literally weeks, if not months, of effort on Monday night we at last killed the Lieutenant of Barad Guldur on Hard Mode. That’s it, the hardest mob in the game on the hardest setting down at the hands of Precept. We win at Lotro… At least until new content on September 10th. Just made it in time then!

Took us way longer than it should have and in truth we’ve had the tactic nailed for weeks but just our application has been off.  Some reasons for our delay in getting this down immediately spring to mind…

Harkain attending raid nights.
Ausy being a noob and wiping us whenever he got below 10k.
Harkain attending raid nights.
We suck at the eyes.
Harkain attending raid nights.
Stressing Kellie out by being noobs with corruptions (who was that by the way!?).
Harkain attending raid nights.

But I digress. Was seriously great to finally to get this guy down. Fantastic achievement for us all to be proud of, especially as the encounter will be nerfed with the upcoming patch. We did it the true hard way and we can take these experiences into the new revamped raid content so genuine congratulations to us, guys.

Special mention goes to Annan. If you weren’t bald before you started leading this raid I’m certain you are now, mate. Many raid leaders would have thrown the towel in but you stuck at it even during our nights of wipe… wipe… wipe… wipe. Very impressive how you kept your cool all these weeks, cheers.

Oh and final thank you goes to Ausy for getting the raid locks the last few weeks so the rest of the raid didn’t have to sit through two hours of trash and farm-able bosses. It didn’t go unnoticed, mate.

Next update when new book lands.
