A cold wind blew from the south, Ragrin stood on the cleft of the (name) mountains and gazed out to the east, his long auburn hair flowing freely in the breeze. He touched his swords at his sides for reassurance, the cool steel feeling damp against his fingertips. It would be a trying road to take the boy to (name), but a road he must take none the less. As he stared into the distance he saw the scouting party that would soon find his tracks, this was not a time for panic, the King was awaiting his arrival, it was time to choose his path through the mountains. He knelt down next to the child, put his arm on the boys head and smiled,

Is that a part of the novel you've mentioned to me ages ago?
I have to admit it's not easy picturing someone called "Ragrin" as anything but big footed, round bellied hobbit.. or Ardaion without a cloak wanting snatching.. but.. you've got a nice fluent writing.

yeah it is Kay, the only problem was when i re-read it all some of it i didnt't like and i ended up deleting about 5 pages so at the minute kind of in a reformating stage
