List previous MMO's and your play level in them (ie: raider, pvper, casual etc)
EVE was my first MMO but never really got into it, played it only for a couple months.
LotRO was my second and started in open beta. (I think it was December 2006) A few months after LotRO went live I joined the Silver Blades. With them I had my best gaming experiences and I consider all (ex) Silver Blades as my friends. However I doubt I will have to tell you much about the Silver Blades as a lot before me already did. Maybe it is worth to mention that I did organize a bit for SB and did my share in leading SB raids. I did leave LotRO for just over a year (the DN raid was disappointing and LotRO lost some of its magic) and played a couple MMO's during that time.
I played Aion for almost a year but left about a month after they introduced a new level cap. I did enjoy Aion but as my friends left the game I could not really find a "home". There was not really any raiding (only pvp/keep takes) in Aion as most end game content was only for groups of 6. My cleric ended at level 53 and with him I did all the end game that Aion had to offer including pvp. A couple months ago I had enough of Aion and I missed my friends so I went back to LotRO to find out that my best mates joined Precept.
About 6 months after Aion was released I started playing AoC were I levelled a ranger to level 80 and I did do quite a bit of PvP with him. I stopped playing AoC after 2,5 months to go back to Aion as I felt that the expansion brought more grind to the game than Aion ever had.
In the 2 months before Aion was released (when there was no Aion beta or LotRO raid) I played WoW for a month and a half. Not much to say about it as I never got to end game, I was just waiting for Aion and have something to do.
Explain WHY you want to join Precept (be as detailed as possible)
Raiding is the most fun aspect for me and I have still a few challenges in LotRO that came with the Mirkwood expansion. It would be nice to complete those with Precept were many of my friends have joined before me. I am not looking for Silver Blades v2.0 as it had a few flaws. In SB there was drama or discussion about a lot of things. So it would be nice to be part of a guild that is well organized with clear rules and no complaining on a daily basis. Precept seems to fit perfectly in that picture. Another reason is that I am looking at 2 interesting games that should be released in 2011. One is Rift (I am set for the beta test this Friday) and the other is SW:TOR. I have already been informed that Precept will be moving as a guild to Rift so I guess it is a perfect time to join.
Explain WHAT you want from Precept (be as honest as possible)
For me, fun is the most important factor of any game and I get the most fun from grouping/raiding with friends. Beating challenging end game content with an organized group for the first time has always given me an extra thrill. So I hope to be part of such a group once more and hopefully I will not have to look for another.
I am looking forward to be reunited with my friends from the Silver Blades and hope to make a lot of new friends as well.
