*Name Alex
*Age: 35
*Nationality: Hellenic

*Character: (Don't have a name for him yet)
*Race: Miraluka
*Primary char advanced class: Healer Sage (Seer spec)
*notable alts: -
*Level: -

*Use of Voip solutions for gamers: Vent, TS

*List previous MMO's and your play level in them (ie: raider, pvper, casual etc):
- WoW (April 2004-Oct 2011) : HC Raiding in Vanilla and BC, Casual-ish in WoTLK and Cata

- LoTRo (6 months approx) : Casual

*Explain WHY you want to join Precept (be as detailed as possible):

Well, at first i just wanted to be able to play with the rest of my friends from LoTRo, namely Tulca and the gang. All i asked them was if they were going to form a guild for SWTOR and whether i could join.

However, after reading through your forum posts and who Precept are and what your mentality is, i was pleasantly surprised. For me, being able to play with a teamwork-based mindset and having a sense of belonging not to just an artificial group of people but rather a company of individuals who share adventures, jokes, hardships and all a game has to offer through a spirit of cooperation, maturity and camaraderie is an absolute bliss. I'd rather play 3 hours with a group i could call "friends" rather 12 hours with someone i could hardly exchange a word with, a total stranger.

What YOU can expect from me:

-A co-operative mindset: I like helping guildmates, craft for guildmates and making my part for the enjoyment of all. No loot-whoring.Guild needs come first.Fun>artificial belongings. I respect my fellow players and want the same in return.I'm all for win-win situations.

Maturity and accountability: I' m not afraid to take responsibility when i'm in error and will try to improve my gameplay/attitude/make amends whenever such a case presents itself.

Durability: I'm a bit like the proverbial Dwarf. A bit slow to open-up at start but gain my trust and you gain a friend and someone who you can always depend upon.

Fun-oriented: I'm mostly light-hearted and want to enjoy my time in a game.

Having said all that though, i have to be frank about something. I'd like to be considered for raiding but I am planning to relocate to the UK for a job sometime next year, probably during the late Spring-Early Summer, for a teaching or counselling position. This means that there will be a period in which i won't be able to attend that regularly due to interviews etc and of course, the Force willing, for the relocation itself. If this presents a problem regarding this application, please tell me and i'll withdraw it.

*Explain WHAT you want from Precept (be as honest as possible):

I'd like a place i could call a virtual "home" for me and my character, i'd like to be treated fairly and with respect, i'd like to be able to roleplay sometimes, i don't want to face elitist/me-first attitudes. It's a game, first and foremost. My kind of fun is logging on TS, share jokes, talk about anything and beat the crap out of the game challenges together with friends while making sure your health bars are comfy. All for one, one for all.

* Something about real-life:

Born in Italy, studied Physics in the UK, currently living in Thessaloniki, Greece with my girlfriend. My fave kind of music is Oldschool Goth and darkwave, together with synthpop and post-punk. I DJ when i have the time at a local club. For some more info, www.facebook.com/Feannon and of course via TS.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, i will be waiting for a response soon

till then, May the Force be with you

I think i've got a few tricks up my proverbial sleeve.but it's a strictly on first-come, first-served basis.Oh, and obviously there's no such thing as after-sales service:P Other than that, Goffs are a happy bunch, contrary to popular superstition;)

Thanks for the warm welcome Song, Inuaria and Tulca <3

sorry but your wrong. Pine is highly effective and a well funded well organised concept olive oil is far to busy stealing their own stuff, burning down forests and rioting.

oh right, by olive oil you meant Greece.I'm new here and i just took it literally (i love olives).Who's pine then?

But yes, the forest business just sucks.I've been volunteering for reforestation and the damage is huge.Makes me seethe inside really.

ah sorry thought you where part of the lingo :)

pine (and any derivative from it) =swedes (we have a few!)
waffleflippers=belgians and dutch (who can bother to keep them apart anyway)
olive oilers=greeks (which seems to now be our most numerous demografy..hostile takeover i tell you)

we have yet to find a fitting desc for all the brittish ppl, we tend to slander them individually instead.

However I have to somewhat agree over the number of Greeks .........

Waffleflippers???that's hilarious!didn't even know this one existed. But i'm sure there is something equally funny to be found for our British friends ^^

Back on track, thanks Gilreth and the rest for the welcome and don't worry about the Greek invasion you're talking about (though, admittedly it may feel a bit that way).

Imagine that, next summer, after 6 months of having fun together you'll have the perfect place to go to for vacation, as guests;) look on the bright side<3
